Wizz Air Launches New Routes from Poland to Budapest

Airlines & Airports

Wizz Air is expanding its network with two new routes connecting Poland to Budapest, Hungary. These flights are set to begin in the summer of 2025, further strengthening Wizz Air’s presence in Poland and offering travelers affordable travel options to explore the vibrant Hungarian capital.

Starting on June 30, 2025, Wizz Air will operate flights from Gdansk to Budapest three times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The following day, July 1, 2025, Wizz Air will introduce a new service from Wroclaw to Budapest, with flights operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

These additions make Wizz Air the largest carrier between Poland and Hungary, offering more direct travel options to Budapest at competitive prices. Tickets for both routes are available starting from just PLN 89, and can be booked via the Wizz Air website or mobile app.

Budapest, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Danube,” is a dynamic city that combines rich history with modern charm. The Hungarian capital is home to world-renowned landmarks such as Buda Castle, Fisherman’s Bastion, and the Parliament Building.
