Qatar Airways Adds Bahrain and Kozhikode to Resumed Routes
Qatar Airways is continuing to rebuild its international network, announcing the return of daily services to Bahrain (BAH) and Kozhikode (CCJ) in India, both starting May 1, 2026.
The resumptions follow the airline's recent reinstatement of daily flights to Dubai and Sharjah from April 23, and Damascus from May 1 — part of a phased effort to restore connectivity across the Middle East and beyond. With Bahrain and Kozhikode now added to the list, Qatar Airways is steadily rebuilding passenger access to key markets across six continents.
For passengers already holding tickets, the airline has put flexible rebooking options in place. Those with tickets issued by April 30, 2026 and travel dates between February 28 and September 15, 2026 can make complimentary date changes to any new travel date up to October 31, 2026, subject to availability. Refunds of unused ticket value are also available, with processing times of up to 28 working days.
Passengers whose flights are directly impacted by schedule changes are entitled to additional fee-free changes until October 31, 2026, with the same cabin class maintained regardless of fare seasonality, as well as penalty-free refunds.
Qatar Airways advises all passengers to monitor its official website or app regularly for updates and to keep their contact details current.
