Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, India,was recently named the best hotel in the world, the choice being made by tourists all over the world. Millions of visitors voted on TripAdvisor during one year, informs CNN . All the hotels in top offers not only a bed tourists, but truly memorable experience, making this difference. The hotel winning first place, Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur owns 100,000 square meters of lush gardens. The building has 64 rooms and suites are decorated in Art Deco style.

 

Umaid Bhawan Palace is one of the largest private residences in India and is located on the outskirts of the Chittar hill, and this is why it is knows as Chittar Palace . It has 3 sections namely the residence of the former royal family of Jodhpur, the hotel and a museum. Its construction began in 1929 on the time of Maharaja Umaid Singh 's reign and lasted about 14 years. It was made ​​by the plans of a famous architect, Lanchester V H , which you can see in interior design .

The hotel swimming pool is also well known as a luxurious legacy of Umaid Bhawan. When completed in 1943 , Umaid was the largest inhabited building in the world , with its 347 rooms. A further processed into transforming it in a high luxury hotel, was the moment when the building added an underground, deep swimming pool,adorned with the insignia of the 12 signs, all executed in gold.
