
SAS Launches New Route Between Sandefjord and Copenhagen

Starting April 28, SAS reinitiates flights between TORP Sandefjord Airport and Copenhagen Airport, enhancing international connectivity and offering seamless transfers to global destinations.
From April 28, SAS is set to reconnect TORP Sandefjord Airport with Copenhagen Airport, responding to the demand for more international flight options between these two cities. This new service by SAS aims to facilitate easier access to global destinations, including New York, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Shanghai, and London, through seamless connections via Copenhagen.
Kjetil Håbjørg, a senior executive at SAS, expressed enthusiasm about launching direct flights between TORP and Copenhagen's hub this spring. He highlighted the attractiveness of Sandefjord and its surroundings for both leisure and business travelers seeking straightforward travel options to worldwide destinations. Similarly, TORP Airport is positioned as an inviting gateway for international business contacts and tourists keen to explore the beautiful region of Norway.
The flight schedule for the summer season is as follows:
During the summer shoulder season (April 28 - June 26, and after August 12), flights are scheduled from Copenhagen to TORP at 10:35 from Monday to Friday, with a special afternoon flight on Saturday at 14:20. The return flights from TORP to Copenhagen are at 12:35 from Monday to Friday, and at 16:20 on Saturday.
In the peak summer season (June 27 - August 11), the flights from Copenhagen to TORP are at 13:45 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and an early flight on Saturday at 11:15. Return flights from TORP to Copenhagen follow at 15:45 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the Saturday return at 13:15.
