SWISS now at Terminal 2 in Heathrow
Airline News
SWISS has announced its formal move to the reopened Terminal 2 at London Heathrow Airport.
Along with this endeavor, SWISS has joined the 22 Star Alliance member airlines who benefit from Terminal 2 services. This specific part of Heathrow is also known as The Queen’s Terminal, honoring Queen Elizabeth II.
Terminal 2 is a state of the art facility with a boosted travel experience for SWISS as well as any other airline. Its design and features have been improved in order to respect the customer demands as different surveys have been taken into account before its reopening earlier this year.
The intra-terminal connection time has been improved to 60 minutes, this means that travelers are bound to connect Star Alliance flights in record time.
SWISS is hosted in the Lufthansa Group zone, Zone B, which enables staffed check-in desks for SWISS Business as well as for SWISS First customers. SWISS Economy passengers will benefit from self-check-in machines and bag-drop desks.
The Airline expects that its customers will also find the short distance from check-in to the hops, bars and restaurants refreshing.
Operating out of Heathrow, SWISS will be flying 7 daily services between Zurich and London as well as 5 daily flights between Geneva and London.
