Turkish Technic Achieves a Milestone with Its Inaugural A330P2F Conversion
Turkish Technic, a leading MRO company, partners with EFW for A330P2F conversions, achieving a key milestone in cargo door installation, set for completion by mid-2024.
Turkish Technic, a prominent MRO company with Part 145 and Part 21 J&G certifications, has initiated Airbus A330P2F conversions through a partnership with Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW), a recognized center of excellence for Airbus Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) conversions.
As the first MRO company to directly collaborate with EFW for A330P2F conversions, Turkish Technic recently achieved a significant milestone by completing the Upper Frame Shell (UFS) cut-out and successfully installing the new UFS. This pivotal step is integral to the installation of the main deck cargo door. The initial conversion is part of a series of P2F conversion projects, with a planned completion date set for mid-2024.
Mikail Akbulut, CEO of Turkish Technic, expressed his thoughts on this milestone: "We are delighted to have reached a major milestone in our inaugural conversion as we partner with EFW to meet the high market demand. Passenger-to-freighter conversions demand a blend of industry-leading expertise, structural proficiency, and operational excellence. We eagerly anticipate the successful completion of this conversion, providing our customers with optimal performance through our comprehensive structural and avionic modification capabilities.
