Earn 1,000 Free Marriott Bonvoy Points With Your Uber Membership
The campaign is up and running until December 31st.
Your next Uber journey could end up being used to fund a future stay at a Marriott hotel.
Guests who have not yet connected their Marriott Bonvoy and Uber accounts will get 1,000 points as a gift from the hotel chain until December 31.
Although 1,000 bonus points won't be enough to pay for a hotel room, they might be useful for boosting the account balance.
Members have earned nearly 5.5 billion Marriott Bonvoy points since this exciting collaboration started in April 2021, according to Marriott.
Members now have additional opportunities to earn points almost every day—whether they're getting a ride or purchasing groceries, explained David Flueck, Marriott's Senior Vice President of Global Loyalty in a recent statement.
Subscribers of the program may earn 3 points for every dollar spent on Uber trips, regardless of location, and 2 points for every dollar spent on Uber Eats. You may earn 6 points per dollar when you use Uber Eats to get food or groceries while you're staying at a Marriott Bonvoy associated hotel. You can find all the information you need, including the terms and conditions, on Marriott's website.
More and more businesses in the travel sector are teaming up with restaurants and ride-shares to provide loyalty programs that reward customers for their engagement.
For instance, in the US and Canada, Lyft and Hilton Hotels have a similar deal whereby Lyft passengers can collect three Hilton Honors points for every dollar paid.
Passengers flying with Delta Air Lines in 2022 might earn double the points—Delta Sky Miles and Starbucks Rewards—by using their Starbucks loyalty card while on the road.
