New American Cruise Lines river cruise
National Parks & Legendary Rivers cruises will feature itineraries from Portland, Oregon, to Jackson, Wyoming.
The 15-day trips will be launched next year and will include eight days of sailing and seven days on land.
Charles B. Robertson, president & CEO of American Cruise Lines, commented about the company's new product:
“The Columbia and Snake Rivers are spectacular for river cruising and interest continues to grow for our cruises in the region every year. [...]
"Expanding our personalized cruise itineraries into the region’s national parks has always been in our sights.”
Passengers aiming to visit national parks while cruising will now have an enchanting opportunity to do so. Alexa Paolella, public relations manager for American Cruise Lines, added:
"I think it's really awe-inspiring and beautiful, and doing it on a cruise and then on a personally private guided tour through three of the parks, where everything is planned out for you, I think it's a very relaxing and comfortable way to do it."
National Parks & Legendary Rivers cruises will be launched in May 2023 and will end season in September. Cruise ships will depart from Hayden Island, Oregon, and will feature stops in Astoria, Oregon, and Kalama, Washington. Passengers will be enabled to enjoy the natural beauty of Columbia River Gorge and Snake River, as well as the REACH Museum, the Sacajawea Interpretive Center, Hells Canyon, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park during their land trip, accompanied by a cruise line’s official tour guide at all times. The cruise is set to end in Jackson, Wyoming.
American Song, American Jazz and American Harmony will serve the new cruises. Prices start at $10,445 per person, including meals, land transportation, park entrance fees and hotel accommodations.
